Pressure Mats

Pressure Mats are Normally Open devices. They comprise of two conductive sheets separated by a perforated sprung membrane such that when sufficient pressure is applied the conducting sheets form a closed circuit.

Pressure mats are now seldom used, but they can be used to protect say teh area in front of an expensive TV, Computer etc. Their use in heavily walked areas should be avoided. Click on Pictures for more info and/or to buy.
